This is completely heartbreaking, and I just can't wrap my head around how this cult has captivated our society. It is beyond comprehension. People are lost.
When I was in elementary school and a hearse and mourners passed, every vehicle was pulled to the side of the road and male drivers stood beside their cars with their hats removed. As an adult and during the ride to the cemetery, vehicles would break the line of mourners and pull their vehicle in as though it was any ordinary traffic. During COVID, millions around the world were dying and all we heard were complaints about the disruption of personal habits. May God forgive us all.
"Have you no sense of decency.....?" And yet, now, those who decide the definition of decency have mangled it and created a big beautiful bill of BS and harm.
Very well-written and it is appreciated. In 2012 when my 95 year old father passed away, I said to myself here lies one of the last of a generation who had common courtesy and kindness. Our common decency is still out there as I do see it, but I pray to God we don't lose it altogether.

I couldn't agree with you more. I am profoundly shamed and DISGUSTED by my country.

Hopefully this makes people realize where we’re at now

Powerful article Shari. Decency, honor, and humility are values that we sadly see less often today.
